About The Role
At Daylight, we believe in the power of design to shape stories, systems, and experiences that help organisations to respond to the world as it shifts. Weâre looking for an Intermediate Designer to join our team. Someone who can take a creative idea and bring it to life with precision, beauty, and consistency across a wide range of outputs.
In this role, youâll focus on design implementation and asset creation, working closely with our Design Director, digital designers and senior creatives to roll out campaigns, build on existing brand systems, and execute thoughtful, compelling visual work. Youâll be a key player in ensuring our ideas land in the world with clarity and craft.
While your core strength is graphic design, from layout and typography to artworking and rollout, youâre also comfortable dipping into digital formats, and you understand how design can flex across screen and print. Youâll thrive in a collaborative environment, working with designers, writers, developers and strategists to ensure everything we produce is beautifully executed and on-brand.
â
What the role looks like:Â
- Translating conceptual directions and brand ideas, working alongside Daylightâs Design Director to turn these into polished, real-world outputs.
- Developing and expanding brand systems, toolkits, and style guides across multiple applications.
- Rolling out design assets across reports, presentations, campaigns, print collateral, social, banners, and landing pages.
- Managing and maintaining visual consistency across multiple deliverables and formats - from print to screens.
- Supporting senior designers and creative leads with artworking, layout design, and production-ready files.
- Collaborating with developers to ensure brand and design integrity in digital executions.
- Applying strong attention to detail and quality control in every phase of the rollout process.
- Staying curious, flexible, and open to feedback in a fast-moving creative studio.
- Supporting new business and pitch efforts by applying visual design skills to help bring concepts to life.
- Keeping up to date with the latest design formats, tools, AI, and motion, sharing ideas that push creative thinking across the team.
â
â
Who are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience in a creative agency or digital studio environment.
- Experience working across both graphic and digital design projects.
- Strong understanding of layout, composition, colour and typography across print and digital formats.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience in Figma and HTML5 is a bonus
- Strong craft skills and attention to detail
